초록

Spiro-linked orthogonal bisilole, 2,3,3'4,4'5-hexaphenyl-1,1'-spirobisilole, has been synthesized and characterized. Its crystal structure and optical properties were also investigated. This compound shows high thermal stability and strong bluish-green emission(lambda(max) = 509 nm) with high PL efficiency (55 +/- 5%). (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
