초록

We investigate the nuclear response functions in neutrino-induced reaction via a neutral current (NC) on C-12, which functions are comprised of Coulomb, longitudinal, magnetic and electric transitions. Those response functions in the NC reaction are closely related to those extracted from other types of NC reactions by electrons, protons and other light nuclei, such as A(e, e')A*, A(p, p')A*, A(d, d')A*, and A(Li-6,Li-6')A*. For example, the magnetic response function for the J (pi) = 1(+) state (M1) which is associated with the spin transfer reaction can be measured in inelastic scattering and may give us valuable information for the NC neutrino-induced reaction. Therefore, if we exploit response functions deduced by using other nuclear reactions, neutrino reactions could be estimated indirectly without relying on neutrino-induced reaction experiments. For the purpose, in this work, we decompose every response function in the neutrino reaction C-12(nu (e) , nu' (e) )C-12(*)(J (pi) = 1(+)) and address the role of each response function in the reaction.
