라마 7세의 卽位 背景

초록

Prince Prajadhipoksakdidet was 76th child and the 32an son of RamaⅤ(King Chulalongkorn). He hadd never expected to become king. When Maha Uparat(Deputy King) Wichaichan died, King Chulalongkorn abloished position of Maha Uparat and Prince Vajirunhis was appointed Crown Prince in 1886. Unfortunately Vajirunhis died in 1895 and King Chulalongkorn's eldest secong son of the Queen, Prince Vajiravudh was appointed Crown Prince. Queen Sawabhapheongsi was appointed Regent during King Chulalongkorn's European tour in 1897 and was the first Thai Queen with title of Phranangchao Phrabormmarachininat. At the same time the line of succession should first pass throught the sons of Queen Sawabhapheongsi in the order of their ages, namely Crown Prince Vajiravudh, Prince Chakrabongsephuwanat, Prince Asdangdechaut, Prince Chutatutratdirok, Prince Prajadhipoksakdidet, the came the line of Queen Swangwathana, namely Prince Mahidoladunlayadet(father of Rama Ⅷ, the present King Rama Ⅸ), and the that of Queen Sukumanmalasi whose only son was Prince Paripatrasukhumphan. The Crown Prince Vajiravudh ascended the thron(Rama Ⅵ) after the death of King Chulalongkorn in 1910. Rama Ⅵ looked at first as thought he was not going to marry, but suddelny he fell in love with Queen Suvadhana bore him a girl on his death-bed in 1925. Dramaticallt all his full brothers except Prince Prajadhipoksakdedie, namely Prince Chakrabongsephuwanat, Prince Chuthathutratdirok, Prince Asdangdechaut died befor him, so his last brother Prince Asdangdechaut died before him, so his last brother Prince Prajahjpoksakdidet(RamaⅦ) succeeded him.
