알파인 스키선수 중도포기 원인분석 : 학부모를 중심으로

초록

The purpose of this study is to shed light on factors affecting student alpine skiers’ dropout as a skier. To achieve the goal, had in-depth interviews with the parents of five middle and high school elite student skiers. The results show that the factors are divided into two types: internal and external. First, Internal factors include the limit of the skier herself’ability, the difficulty to carrying out training and school work together, economic problem of the skier’s parents, personal relationship with a coach and team mate. On the other hand, external factors are injuries, social value imposed on skiers, social foundation for skiers, and dissatisfaction with administrative system related to ski competitions and associations.
