A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method was developed and validated for the quantification of KR-69232, a diacyltransferase 1 inhibitor, in rat plasma. KR-69232 in the concentration range of 0.004-4 mu g/mL was linear. The intra-and inter-day precision and accuracy were acceptable (<20%). KR-69232 was stable under various storage and handling conditions. The method was applied successfully in a pharmacokinetic study of KR-69232 in rats. Copyright (c) 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
