신제도론의 이론적 쟁점: 제도개념의 다양성과 관련하여

초록

The article examines the issue of “too many definitions of institution” in neo-institutional literature, which is important but has been neglected by other scholars. It reviews the existing neo-institutionalist literature to sort out various kinds of definitions of institution, and then addresses the analytical problems it causes in undertaking empirical research on the basis of neo-institutional perspective. The purpose of this paper, by doing this, is to remind the readers of the potential of neo-institutional approach for empirical research.
