초록
《東塾讀書記》 <詩經篇>은 陳澧가 《詩經》 序의 저자 문제를 논하고 毛傳, 鄭玄의 箋, 孔穎達의 疏, 朱子의 《詩集傳》을 비롯한 여러 학자들의 《시경》 주해서에 대해 평가하고 쟁점을 밝히며 자신의 견해를 피력한 글이다. 본 (상)편에서는 이 중 詩序를 비롯해 毛傳, 鄭玄 箋, 孔穎達 疏의 세세한 부분과 그 특징에 대해 논하고 본인의 心得과 의문 나는 바를 밝힌 제28조까지를 다룬다.
