The radial equation for He-4+(4) He scattering is solved numerically by using the sixth-order Nu-merov method. The radial functions with values greater than L = 0 are found to be more pushed out compared with the case for L = 0 as the L-value increases due to the repulsive centrifugal potential. The He-4+(4) He scattering wavefunction and the probability density have been calculated, and the results have been visualized into 3D graphical displays. Through such a three-dimensional visualization, we can more easily investigate various features of the scattering wavefunction and its probability density. The scattering wavefunction and the probability density with L = 0 have been found to be symmetric in r, but those with L = 2 and 4 depend on the polar angle theta and, thus, show complex structures that are only symmetric with respect to the polar axis. From the 3D visualizations, the radial node number is found to become significantly larger as the energy becomes higher.
