문막평야의 토지이용과 개발과정
The Land Use and Development Process of the Moonmak Plain
초록
본 논문은 문막평야의 토지이용과 개발과정에 관해 다루고 있다. 필자는 이를 통해 문막평야의 지역성과 경관 변화를 밝히고자 노력하였다. 문막평야는 해성퇴적층과 하성퇴적층이 결합된 우리나라의 주요 평야와 달리 하성퇴적층으로만 이루어진 평야이다. 20세기 이전까지 문막평야는 개발이 거의 이루어지지 않은 황무지였다. 문막평야의 개발은 일제강점기 수리체계의 건설과 더불어 시작되었다. 수리체계의 건설은 지난 20세기 문막평야의 경관을 극적으로 변화시켰다.
