In this study, GTS NX numerical analysis was conducted to analyze the effects of the lateral pressure coefficient and earth pressure on tunnel behavior. The results showed that as the lateral pressure coefficient increased, both the tunnel's convergence and crown displacement also increased, with the largest displacement observed at a coefficient of 2.0. Additionally, as the terrain slope increased, tunnel displacement tended to grow; however, the rate of increase diminished beyond a 30 degrees slope. The analysis of rock bolt axial force revealed asymmetric behavior, with the side of the tunnel experiencing greater earth pressure exhibiting higher stress than the other side. The maximum axial force occurred at the upper sections of the rock bolts on both the left and right sides for slopes exceeding 30 degrees. Through this study, the influence of lateral pressure coefficient and earth pressure variations on tunnel stability was quantitatively analyzed.
