This study was conducted to derive appropriate GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning method to enable continuous positioning in GNSS obstructed areas. For this, we tested the Pseudolite positioning system using a Multi-signal Pseudo-GNSS technique, which was analyzed to be suitable for resolving GNSS obstruction in Korea, and conducted the experiment for verifying its performance and utilization in GNSS obstructed area. Among the many GNSS obstructed areas in Korea, we selected the lower part of a large overpass, which has little impact of multipath error, and is clearly divided into a complete and partial obstructed area, as the study area. The Pseudolite equipment was installed in study area, and a point positioning in GNSS surveying was performed using a geodetic GNSS receiver. As a result of this study, it was possible to develop a psuedo-GNSS positioning model suitable for GNSS obstructed areas in Korea, and it is possible to ensure GNSS positioning in GNSS obstructed area with a similar accuracy compare to point positioning method(within sub-meter) in GNSS surveying on the open area when using the model developed in this study. © 2023 Korean Society of Surveying.
