강원도형 웰니스관광 클러스터 조성 방안 연구

초록

Wellness tourism draws attention due to the growing desire for physical and mental rest as interest in improving health and quality of life increases. For Gangwon-do Province to become a leader in wellness tourism, it needs a mid-to-long-term institutional readjustment and support plan to have new wellness content and brands while utilizing Gangwon-do Province's existing tourism resources. The Focus Group Interview (FGI) gathered opinions from related industries and organizations in this study. This study selected four categories: 'development and spread of various contents', 'establishment of the brand', 'establishment of institutional foundation', and 'regional-linked support policy through focus group interviews. Gangwon Province should establish a business model to differentiate itself from other cities and provinces' wellness tourism based on these strategies. Furthermore, regional connections should establish a feasible plan based on a new Gangwon-do wellness tourism clustering models.
