NO Removal Efficiency by Pulsed Corona Discharge Process at Room Temperature

초록

In this study, we analyzed the NO removal efficiency by the pulsed corona discharge process and investigatedthe effects of several process variables such as initial concentrations of NO, H2O, and NH3, applied voltage, pulsefrequency, diameter of the discharge electrode, and residence time. The removal efficiency of NO increased by theaddition of H2O or NH3 3 and H2O concentrations did not affect the removalefficiency of NO significantly. With the increases of the applied voltage or the residence time, the removalefficiency of NO increased. In addition, with the increases of the pulse frequency of applied voltage, or thediameter of the discharge electrode, the removal efficiency of NO increased. The experimental results can be usedas a basis to design the pulsed corona discharge process to remove NOx, SOx and VOCs.
