For a free-electron laser oscillator, we studied the spectral properties of the emitted radiation were studied. The amplification of the emitted radiation due to the nonlinear interaction between the radiation and the electron beam was numerically calculated by using the multi-particle simulation code that was developed based on the one-dimensional free-electron laser model. The spectrum of the emitted radiation was also studied by using the detuning parameter. The dependence of the radiation spectrum on the energy spread of the electron beam was investigated, and the critical value of the energy spread to get greater amplification of the emitted radiation was found.
