초록

In this study, the performances of the linear, low-high, and asymmetric profile orders used in TSE (turbo spin echo) on axial T1 and T2 were analyzed by using the phantom of the ACR (American College of Radiology). Among the items of phantom evaluation, the evaluation of the image intensity uniformity showed that the low-high profile order on the axial T1 was included in the normal range 82.22 percent of the time. For the evaluation of the image intensity uniformity, the linear profile order, the low-high profile order, and the asymmetric profile order on axial T2 were 81.20%; 80.54% and 81.13%, respectively Therefore, the evaluation on the image intensity uniformity of the linear profile order was shown to approach the normal range. From an evaluation of the detectability of low-contrast objects, the low-high profile order on axial T2 was found to be included in the normal range of 39.6, but the linear profile order on axial T2 was found to be included in the normal range of 37.8. Therefore the low-high profile order was shown to be excellent on axial T1, and the linear profile order to be excellent on axial T2 for an evaluation of the detectability of low-contrast objects. © 2016, Korean Physical Society.
