한국과 몽골간의 무역 및 투자협력 증진방안에 관한 연구

초록

This paper suggests several strategies for promoting economic cooperation between Korea and Mongolia. For Korean government, its trade policy would be given much weight on the import from Mongolia in the early stage of mutual economic cooperation between two countries. The import could be compensated and increased with the counter export of Korean industrial products. For Korean companies, they would be hurry to invest and develop the abundant energy and natural resources in Mongolia. The desirable strategies for Mongolia would be transformation of small scale projects into large ones, and fostering production partnerships with the foreign developed and experienced companies, and international joint ventures for inward FDI incentives. It is thus necessarily required for both countries to set up long-range plan and persistent endeavor for promoting trade and foreign direct investments. This enables both parties' win-win result and mutually beneficial development.
