초록
Germany in the 19th century had produced two architects of such international stature as Schinkel and Klenze. This study is on the analysis of the architectural works of Leo von Klenze of them as Neo-classism architect. He was an architect whose numerous public and private buildings, palaces and museums gave a totally new identity to his respective capital city, Munich and also was an indefatigable architect who approached with solemn dedication and high intellectual ideals. His architectural buildings such as Walhalla as Greek Revival, Glyptothek, Leuchtenberg Palais, Propylen, Alte Pinakothek, Knigbau, Festaalbau, the court church of All Saints Church, the Catholic cathedral of St Dionysius, Hermitage museum, Befreiungshalle, Ruhmeshalle etc and the designs such as the theater at Wilhelmshhe and reconstruction of Athens etc can be seen as the realization of his ideals since those are surely a landmark in the history of Germany and Western architecture.
