This Corrigendum relates to the above article. Post-publication, an investigation identified a concern around the authenticity of the following figures/image panels: In Figure 6 C, specifically, the Invasion panel for the HG group and the Invasion panel for the HG+HI-C-pep group were found to contain an overlapping region, suggesting that the same source image had been used to represent two different experimental conditions. The authors were asked to respond to this concern and to provide the original unprocessed image files for assessment. Upon review, the authors confirmed that the image duplication resulted from an inadvertent error during image handling and file organization. The image originated from the HG+HI-C-pep group but was mistakenly placed in the HG group folder. This error occurred during the processing of approximately 60 images across five treatment groups. Due to this misplacement, an incorrect image was selected as the representative image for the HG group in Figure 6 C, leading to the duplication identified during the journal’s assessment. The authors have now provided the corrected version of Figure 6 C with the appropriate representative images. This correction does not affect the results, interpretation, or conclusions of the study.
