Multivariate Spatial Autocorrelation on the Number of Tourists and Natural Amenities

초록

Natural amenities are considered as the major attractions in the tourism behavior, and most tourists give added values to the natural resources into the tourism spaces. These natural amenities are relevant to spatial or geographical environment in some regions, therefore tourism demand also have possibility to be related with regional spaces and natural resources. Therefore, this study intends to demonstrate the spatial autocorrelation on the number of tourists one of the main factors among tourism demands and natural amenities, especially focused on multivariate correlation. For this purpose, this study chooses 10 variables; the number of tourists and 9 natural amenities, and uses spatial autocorrelation methodology targeting nationwide 146 Si and Gun. The results of multivariate global morna’s I between the number of tourists and 9 natural amenities do not show any spatial autocorrelations, but the results of multivariate LISA show the spatial autocorrelations in some regions. According to these results, this study has meaning to verify some spatial autocorrelations between tourism demands and natural amenities, and further researches are needed to find out the time-space relationships among diverse regional amenities.
