Applying the T-dual transformation to the AdS(3) black hole in the DLCQ frame, we study the behavior of the black-string solution. This procedure provides us a relationship among the black-string solutions, which can be related by DLCQ transformation. We also find that the DLCQ procedure serves as a useful tool to study the near extremal black string in connection with the AdS(3) and AdS(2) black holes. In the limit of DLCQ where the boosting parameter is infinite the resultant object is AdS(2) x S-1 black hole with a nonzero winding number, which is T-dual to the DLCQ limit of the AdS(2) black hole with a Kaluza-Klein U(1) charge.
