초록

The current study was conducted with the recognition that plays in the traditional culture, day-today living culture, and play culture concerning community awareness are prerequisite to the elucidation of traditional leisure, which combine to perform the functions of leisure. while there are several areas in elucidating traditional leisure. 1. Plays in the traditional culture may well be a pursuit of consummation of a social group where simply religious senses and social functions are looked upon as important. 2. While labor in day-to-day culture is productive, its aspect as sublimated to a religious level was emphasized. 3. Relief of conflicts and integrated circulation served as an outlet to relieve emotions strained to the limit of participants in leisure activities which are associated with religious ceremonies in particular. 4. It was confirmed that the community awareness contributes to the creation, preservation and enhancement of cultures unique to each village.
