초록

The standard, ISO 19488 defines acoustic classifications for dwellings in terms of impact sound insulation between the inhabitable spaces and other spaces in a multitenancy dwelling. A proposed revision to the standard would include the rubber ball as a noise source and the Li-A,Li- Fmax rating as an optional rating for the impact sound insulation classes. The rubber ball is widely used as an impact source in Japan, Korea and other countries and so it would be advantageous to the adoption of the ISO 19488 standard if the rubber ball is included as an impact noise source. A large subjective study investigating annoyance levels due to impact sounds was used to suggest values for Li-A,Li- Fmax that could be included in the impact noise classification.
