척도개발에 관한 방법론적 연구동향: 『관광학연구』 학술지를 중심으로

초록

This study is to review methodological trend in relation to scale development and outline the development of reliable and valid scales on papers appeared in Journal of Tourism Sciences from 1998 to 2007. A suggested procedure of scale development was derived from existing theoretical and practical literature. Additionally, some parts of the studies reviewed in this research were also used as a source of the suggested process. Methodological techniques of the reviewed papers were compared to suggested processes. The findings describe that most studies have faithfully provided reliability and validity of scales, and several papers have attempted to introduce new methodological approaches in their studies.
