초록

This study mostly aims to accumulate the empirical basis of survey for the relationship between involvement type(bicycle·horse racing) and addiction propensity and social adaptation in sports gambling, and to identify the relationship between involvement type(bicycle·horse racing) and addiction propensity in sports gambling and the relationship between involvement type(bicycle·horse racing) and social adaptation in sports gambling on the basis of previous theses related to addiction propensity and social adaptation so as to establish the participation into healthy pastime. Among the questionnaire data collected to accomplish the objective of this study, the researcher excluded from analysis what was judged as short of written content, or short of confidence of responded content in the data retrieval process. After encoding the analyzable data into computer, one made a processing according to the objective of data analysis through SPSS 10.0 for Window Program. The statistical techniques of analysis used in this study for the sake of data analysis are frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multi-regression analysis. The following were the conclusion drawn through the above-mentioned study method and consequence analysis. First, there were significant differences between involvement type and addiction propensity in sports gambling. In other words, it was indicated that there was statistically significant influence in compulsion and withdrawal symptom. Second, there were significant differences between involvement type and social adaptation in sports gambling. In other words, it was indicated that there was statistically significant influence in responsibility.
