This experiment was conducted on wild vegetables; Gondalbi (Cirsium setidens), Deoduck (Codonopsis lanceolataTrautv.),andJandae(Adenophoratriphyllavar.JoponicaHara)seedtostudywhetherprimingwithdeepseawaterresultsinenhance-ment of sed germination and identify the optimum concentration of the priming solution, and duration of priming. Seeds wereprimed with 5 various concentrations (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%and 30%) of deep sea water (DSW) in 12 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hoursat24 . SinceJandaehadseeddormancy, itwaskeptforfourweeksinrefrigeratorat2 afterprimingtreatment. InDeoduck, 5per℃ ℃ -centage DSWpriming significantly improved the early germination percentage, radicle length, and plumule emergence percentage.priming with 10 percentages DSWsignificantly improved the germination percentage and germination rate. This treatment had in-creasedthefinal germinationpercentageby54%, 15%and40%comparedwithcontrol, plainwater andKNO3primingrespectively.But in Gondalbi, priming did not improve the germination of sed. However, among the priming treatments, 12 hours priming with3% KNO 3and 20%DSWgave beter performance. In both the wild vegetables; Deoduck and Jandae, priming in dep sea water had3, and without priming treatment. Hencethe best seed priming treatment on Deoduck and Jandae are 24 hours with 5% DSWand 12 hours with 10% DSWrespectively.Key words- Deep sea water, Gondalbi, Deoduck, Jandae, Seed priming, Germination percentage and rate
