On wσ-open sets and w-regular open sets in weak spaces

The purpose of this note is to introduce the notions of wσ-open set and w-regular open set in w-spaces. In fact, a wσ-open set is a generalization of a w-open set. However, the notions of a w-regular open set and a w-open set are independent. We study some basic properties of such notions and figure out the relations among these through examples. Moreover, we characterize weak W-continuity in terms of w-open sets. © 2016 Pushpa Publishing House, Allahabad, India.
