The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the depression and social support of employees. A convenience sample of 175 employees was recruited at from four worksites in Korea. A descriptive survey study was performed using a structured questionnaire and the collected data was analyzed by t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients and logistic regression test using SPSS/WIN 19.0. The results showed that social support (OR=0.92, 95% CI=0.89-0.95) and monthly income (OR=2.79, 95% 0=1.22-6.39) were the main influence factors on depression, and the three variables - social support, economic condition, and marital status had 27.7% of explanation power on depression. In conclusion, a health program needs to be developed to improve social support for employees' psychological health. © 2017 International Information Institute.
