초록
An adsorbent prepared from MSWI(Municipal Solid Waste Incinerator) fly ash is activated by HNO3. The acidic surface functional group was measured by Boehm's method. It is found that the surface functional groups and surface acidity greatly increase with the HNO3 activation. The lactone groups of original adsorbent is 35.6meq/g and increased to 220meq/g after activation. The contents of phenol and carboxyl groups increased to 120meq/g, 80meq/g respectively. The surface acidity of original adsorbent was 35.6meq/g, but increased to 420meq/g with HNO3 activation. And also oxygen contents increased from 7.6% to 21.6%. A 23 full factorial experimental design is employed in this study using activation temperature, activation time and activation agent concentration as the experimental factors. The result showed that activation temperature and concentration are important effective factors in increasing the surface acidity.
