초록

Erythema annulare centrifugum (EAC) is a relatively rare inflammatory skin disease that is typically characterized byerythematous annular patches or papules with trailing scales of unknown etiology. It is considered a cutaneous hypersensitivityreaction with a wide range of implicating factors such as infection, malignancy, autoimmune disorder,medications, and pregnancy. Despite its typical clinical manifestations, the accurate pathogenesis of EAC remainsunknown. We present what is to our knowledge the first Korean case of EAC in pregnancy, which completelydisappeared within 1 month after delivery. Our case suggests that endocrine, hormonal, or metabolic alterationsduring pregnancy may be associated with the etiology and clinical course of EAC.
