Skiing is a popular winter sports however, the seasonal conditions provides limitation as it can be only performed in snow. Thus, the research aims to establish whether newer training devices i.e. simulators being developed can actually contributes to enhance skier’s performance and provides any advantages in learning the real activity. The experiment was conducted in two different experimental conditions i.e. on simulator in the laboratory and in actual slope. Mean activation variable showed significant difference for outer leg with comparatively less activation on simulator than on actual slope. Significant differences as well as patterns of activation also differed in simulator than on slope. No statistical high differences in muscle innervation ratio were observed when comparing the two experimental conditions. © Research India Publications.
