초록
A three-dimensional analysis of a thermally asymmetric rectangular geometry was presented. The nondimensional heat losses were investigated as a function of L, w, and Biot numbers using the separation of variables method in three dimensions. Comparisons of θ for thermally asymmetric conditions and for thermally symmetric conditions were made. Heat loss was found to increase nonlinearly as fin length increased and increased linearly as fin width increased.
