초록

ThispaperintroducesamethodologyforNREL 5MW windturbine,whichisthevariablespeedandvariable pitch(VSVP)controlsystem.Thiscontrolstrategymaximizesthepowerextractioncapabilityfrom thewindin thelow windspeedregionandregulatesthewindturbinepowerastheratedoneforthehighwindspeedregion. Also,pitch controlefficiency is raised by using pitch scheduling.Torque schedule is made oftorque table dependingontherotorspeed.Torquecontrolisusedforverticalregioninatorque-rotorspeedchart.Inaddition tothese,mechanicalloadsreductionusingadrivetraindamperandexclusionzoneonatorquescheduleistried. TheNREL 5MW windturbinecontrolstrategy iscomprisedby thegeneratortorqueandbladepitchcontrol. Finally,proposedcontrolsystem isverifiedthroughGH Bladedsimulation.
