초록
In this study, the anti-obesity effects of protein hydrolysates derived from Japanese rhinoceros beetle (Allomyrina dichotoma) larvae were investigated. Four different hydrolysate fractions were assessed: Flavourzyme 10 kDa, Flavourzyme 30 kDa, Protana 10 kDa, and Protana 30 kDa. Cytotoxicity assays revealed that over 80% of cells remained viable in the presence of up to 250 μg/mL hydrolysate. Among the tested samples, Flavourzyme 10 kDa (200 μg/mL) was the most effective in suppressing the expression of sterol regulatory element-binding transcription factor-1 (SREBP-1) and fatty acid synthase (FAS), key proteins involved in lipid synthesis in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Oil Red O staining further confirmed that Flavourzyme 10 kDa (200 μg/mL) significantly inhibited lipid accumulation during adipocyte differentiation. These results suggest that the Flavourzyme 10 kDa hydrolysate at 200 μg/mL holds promise as a functional anti-obesity ingredient in pet food products.
