후쿠시마 원전 오염수 방류 관련 언론 보도가 우리나라 수산물 소비에 미치는 영향 분석 －가계부 데이터를 이용하여－

초록

This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing Seafood consumption and to derive implications in light of anticipated reduced domestic consumption due to the release of contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Utilizing data from the ‘Consumer Panel Household Ledger Data’ by the Korea Rural Development Administration and press releases data from the Korea Press Promotion Foundation, our analysis employed the fixed-effects model, the random-effects model, and the pooled OLS method. To determine the most appropriate model, F-test, LM test, and Hausman test were conducted. The findings indicate that the ratio of livestock expenditure, ratio of agricultural expenditure, income, the frequency of domestic seafood product purchases, and media coverage related to the discharge of contaminated water from nuclear power plants significantly impact the ratio of seafood expenditure.
