초록

The purpose of this study is to find out ethics of responsibility on public awareness and engagement of the Anthropocene environmental issues with agential realism. The scientific studies on the Anthropocene issues require new human responsibility and ethical engagement unlike ecocentrism that is likely to prohibit human engagement from the non-human world, or eco-modernism that only depends on technology responding to these issues. Agential realism can give a theoretical base to human ethics of responsibility with agency of human-nonhuman world relations and ethics of making any relations with them. Agential realist ethics of in the Anthropocene give a theoretical and realistic perspective to trying zero-net-carbon world and pandemic responses based on human-nonhuman relationship. Furthermore, the examples on literature can contribute to public internalization of ethics of responsibility in the Anthropocene.
