σ-preopen sets and σ-precontinuous functions on spaces with σ-structures

We introduce the notions of σ-preopen sets and σ-precontinuous functions on sets with σ structures, and study some basic properties of such notions. We investigate characterizations for the σ-precontinuity by using the σ-interior, σ-closure, σ-pre-interior and σ-pre-closure operators. In particular, we investigate the relationships among σ-continuity and σ-semicontinuity and σ-precontinuity. © 2014 Pushpa Publishing House, Allahabad, India.
