생태학적 고찰을 통한 무용공연 활성화 방안 연구: 강원도를 중심으로

초록

Dance performing markets in South Korea are generally suffering from decreasing audience. Previous studies have tried to apply diverse theories to activate the performing dance. However, finding a solution was not easy because the studies were mainly performed under the condition that a well-made dance performance is already given to interest the audience. Present study carries out a plan to revitalize performance dance through ecological considerations on dance ecology targeting Kangwon-do in Korea. The statistic on the residents of Kangwon-do provided that they generally do not have great interest in performing dance because of lack of dance related education for a relatively long period. Therefore, this study proposes a vitalization plan consisting of three elements, dance performance, education for youth and the elderly, and research as a way to create a sustainable dance ecosystem in Kangwon-do as soon as possible. A representative limitation of this study is that the effectiveness of the proposed activation cannot yet be demonstrated.
