≪雷雨≫와 ≪皇后花≫ 比較 分析(Ⅱ) - 오스뜨로프스키의 ≪雷雨≫와 비교한 被害者群 人物을 中心으로

Characters in victim class appearing on three works such as Thunderstorm of Yu Cao, Thunderstorm of A. N. Ostrovski and Curse of the Golden Flower of Yi-mou Zhang, can break down into three groups according to their characteristic similarities granted in works. In the first group-Si-feng Lu, Chan Jiang(played by Man Li) and Kazerina, all of their lives ended tragically. Because they experienced despairs in the masculine world. The despairs that Si-feng Lu and Chan Jiang (played by Man Li) experienced are rejections of their desires, and the despair that Kazerina experienced is frustration. Three men appearing in the second group-Ping Zhou, crown prince Yuan-xiang(played by Ye Liu) and Kavanov, play roles in loving and suffering between two women. They become neurotic patients that repress their instincts. Characters in the third group-Chong Zhou, prince Yuan-jie(played by Jie-lun Zhou) and Varvara, are expressed as persons that are full of responsibilities, considerations and respects as well as are willing to help others' lives improve and cherish them. In three works, hypocritical characters in guilty class that give love wrongly, cause that characters in victim class are mentally injured or end their lives tragically. One of tragic endings in theaters or films is for audiences to cure themselves as they can experience catharsis and get close their unconsciousness, in this respect, Thunderstorm and Curse of the Golden Flower are also considered to be effective in curing artistically.
