초록

A thin film battery has been fabricated by depositing a LiCoO<inf>2</inf> positive electrode, a Li<inf>1.9</inf>Si<inf>0.28</inf>P<inf>1.0</inf>O<inf>1.1</inf> N<inf>1.0</inf> electrolyte, and Si<inf>0.7</inf>V<inf>0.3</inf> negative electrode, sequentially. The electrochemical characteristics of the Si<inf>0.7</inf>V<inf>0.3</inf> electrode and the electrical conductivity of the Li<inf>1.9</inf>Si<inf>0.28</inf>P<inf>1.0</inf>O<inf>1.1</inf> N<inf>1.0</inf> electrolyte are investigated. The thin film battery mainly operates in the voltage range between 3 and 3.5 V. It exhibits excellent cycling stability when cycled between 2.0 and 3.9 V, while the battery performance is abruptly deteriorated when the charge cutoff voltage is extended to 4.2 V. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
