다문화가정 여가교육스쿨을 통한 자아정체감 연구

초록

This study was aimed to develop a program that could benefit a rapidly increasing number of the members of multi-cultural families recently in Korean society so as for them to receive continuous multi-cultural leisure education and to make efforts to improve their self-identity based on the development. After conducting reference researches, the educational support projects of central government, local self-governing bodies and private organizations have focused on Korean language education and basic skills education necessary for them to adapt to living in Korea. This policy has been solely based on its suppliers and has had problems with a lack of information, objections of family members, inconvenience of transportations, a limitation of its accessibility to marriage immigrants and the existence of the marriage immigrants who had overlapped benefits and had not received benefits at all. Therefore, it is believed that the directions of educational support policy need to be changed in the future. In terms of qualitative research, it has been found that there were statistically significant differences in independence, self-acceptance, goal orientation, initiative, intimacy and self-identity between the groups participating in leisure education schools and the groups not participating in them. This signified that the self-identity of female marriage immigrants who participated in leisure educational schools was relatively high.
