In the title compound, C26H26N2O2S, the dihedral angle between the benzothiazole and coumarin rings is 8.34 (7)degrees, indicating that the overall benzothiazole substituent is almost coplanar with the coumarin rings. An intramolecular S center dot center dot O [2.813 (1) angstrom] contact may help to stabilize the molecular conformation. In the crystal structure, pi-pi stacking interactions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.480 (2) angstrom] link pairs of molecules.
