The Performance and Efficiency Analysis of PVT system : A Review

초록

A Photovoltaic/Thermal(PVT)solarsystem consistsofPV moduleandthermalabsorberplatewhichconvert theabsorbedsolarradiationintoelectricityandheat.Meaningfulresearchesanddevelopment(R&D)onthePVT technologieshavebeenperformedsincethe1970s.Thispaperpresentsareview ofthepreviousworkscovering thevarioustypesofPVT andtheirperformanceanalysisintermsofelectricalandthermalefficiency.Thisreview compareselectricalandthermalefficiencyofthedifferenttypesofPVT collectorsandanalyzestheparameters affectingPVT performance.Basedontheliteraturereview,boxchanneltypePVT withunglazed,orflatplatePVT withglazedhavethehighestefficiencyamongthem.From theliteraturereview,R&D shouldbecarriedoutaiming atimproving theiroverallelectricaland thermalefficiency,cutting down the cost,and making them more competitiveintheenergyconsumptionmarket.
