황금색 미니단호박 ‘K1’ 품종 육성

초록

‘K1’ is a golden sweet pumpkin variety bred in 2021 by Kangwon National University. Five pure lines were bred through self-fertilization of Mini Gold F1 hybrid for 8 generations using the phylogenetic breeding method. Two parents were selected by examining the characteristics of the five lines. F1 was bred by crossing 1-1-1, as a maternal line, with 1-4-1, as a paternal line. Qualitative and quantitative traits of 10 specimens each were examined for 2 years in 3 repetitions. The specimens showed excellent characteristics and were named K1. The female flower was epiphytic on every 2 nodes; therefore, the fruiting performance was very good. The fruit was about 350 g, with yellow color skin and dark orange line clearly formed on the yellow background. The flesh was wider than that of the control, and there were many edible parts. The sugar content was high with12 Brix.
