초록
Nymphs of Cincticostella levanidovae (Ts-hernova), were collected from a headwater stream in Mt. Jumbong in the northern part of Korea. They showed a univoltine winter life cycle. The youngest nymphs were collected in July and the adults appeared to emerge from early April through June in next year. The cohort production interval for the species was estimated as 340 days. The annual secondary production (ash free dry weight) was estimated by the increment-summation method and the size-frequency method, being calculated as 488 and 708 mg · m-2 · yr-1, respectively. Gut content analysis showed that C. levanidovae is a detritivore and could be categorized as a collector-gatherer. © 2005 Korean Society of Applied Entomology, Taiwan Entomological Society and Malaysian Plant Protection Society.
