In this study, in order to present the content of the converted fine particles of the sand-clay mixed soil, indoor and non-drain triaxial compression tests were conducted by adjusting the content and relative density of various fine particles. Relative density was adjusted by using the dry deposition method, and the specimen was prepared at various mixing ratios by adjusting the ratio of sand and clay to 0-100%, and the test results compared and analyzed the void ratio, the skeletal void ratio, shear strength, and maximum axis stress. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the shear strength decreased as the fine particle content increased, and it was confirmed that the void ratio, the skeletal void ratio, and the shear strength all showed similar behavior to clay in the fine particle content of 20% or more. Therefore, it is not considered appropriate to uniformly apply the soil classification criteria of sandy soil and viscous soil, and it is judged that it is necessary to prepare a reasonable soil classification standard including the content of the converted fine particles as various studies on the mixed soil continue in the future.
