Threshold Anomaly for <SUP>6,7</SUP>Li Projectiles

Based on the optical model approach, we investigate the threshold anomaly in the elastic scattering of the Li-6,Li-7 + Co-59 and the Li-6,Li-7 + Ba-138 systems at near-Coulomb-barrier energies by using a chi(2) analysis. A folding potential is exploited as the bare potential for the systems. We found the threshold anomaly for both the Li-7 + Co-59 and the Li-7 + Ba-138 systems. In contrast to the Li-7 + Co-59 and the Li-7 + Ba-138 systems, however, both the Li-6 + Co-59 and the Li-6 + Ba-138 systems do not show the threshold anomaly. This difference is known to stern from the structure of the incident nuclei. In this study, we confirmed again a feature of the threshold anomaly due to the incident nuclei.
