Investigation of the Distribution in Refractive Powers on Lenses

초록

Purpose: In this study, the distribution in refractive powers on lenses was investigated. Methods: We used +1.50D, ±2.00D and -3.00D spherical lenses which were distributed in Korea. Refractive powers at 0~25 mm from optical center were measured, and then, their optical uniformity were surveyed according to international standards. Results: Refractive power, power error and frequency measured cylindrical power were increased respectively as optical point was far from optical center. In the case of (-) lenses, most of powers which were measured at 20~25 mm from optical center exceeded the tolerance. There were no cases exceeding tolerance for (+) lenses. Conclusions: The hard process control and precision quality control will be essential to secure a higher competitiveness of Korean products in the domestic and foreign marketplace.
