초록

The dissociation behavior in methane hydrate-bearing sediments was experimentally analyzed by changing temperature of hot-brine ranged from 16.3 to 42.0 Celsius. The experimental apparatus was designed to demonstrate an idealized one-dimensional dissociation phenomenon. The movement of dissociation front was directly measured from the temperature distribution during dissociation. The dissociation front advanced faster with increasing injection temperature. The normalized speed of dissociation front could imply the probable zone to be dissociated by injecting unit pore volume of hot-brine in hydrate reservoir, and was linearly correlated with the temperature-driving force. © 2011 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
