Smart home IP-based U-healthcare monitoring system using mobile technologies

Mobile technologies usage is becoming more integrated with the delivery of patient care. Mobile technology has the potential to have a positive impact on healthcare. The number of people suffering from chronic diseases is growing rapidly and poses an ever increasing strain on the health care sector. An ageing population is now the leading healthcare concern of many countries in the world. Advances in remote medical care have opened up new opportunities in healthcare systems. In this study, a smart home IP-based U-Healthcare monitoring system using mobile technologies is develop a pervasive architecture for U-Healthcare monitoring, services management system, and preventive medicine. The IP based Mobile and Home u-Healthcare system employ wearable wireless bio-sensors to gather medical data, which is then transmitted using RFID technology to the user's device, typically a smart phone or a PDA, and directs this information to a local proxy server. © 2016 SERSC.
