경로분석을 이용한 지역경제 성장에 미치는 요인 분석: 강원지역을 중심으로

초록

The purpose of this paper is to provide some information about the underling causal process in the growth of the regional economy of Gangwon area. Although there is a growing body of literature on causal analysis with nominal data, only a limited set of techniques being appropriate for diagnosis of farming with interval data have been considered. To construct the causal model in Gangwon area, I use the principal component regression analysis which can stabilize the parameter estimates by trading off unbiasedness in estimation for variance reduction. Among coefficients of effect in gross regional domestic product(GRDP) of agriculture, some variables such as rate of paved roads, number of tourists, agriculture implement and machine's holdings etc. have a positive effect on them. And other variables(water pollution facilities and industrial areas) have a negative effect. Among coefficients of effect in GRDP of mining and manufacturing, all variables except for industrial areas have a positive effect. In the case of the services section, some variables such as per capita GRDP, public finance index, number of cultural assets and building construction permits, have a positive effect, but other variables have a negative effect.
